Hacking MS Word!

Hacking MS WEordRose Leadem is an online editorial assistant with Entrepreneur Magazine. She produced an article entitled, 8 Microsoft Word Hacks. The article was in the format of an infographic. I recently published an article about her infographics in an article entitled, The Quest … to make your work easier!

Infographics are graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present information quickly and clearly. They can improve cognition by utilizing graphics to enhance the human visual system’s ability to see patterns and trends. Infographics have evolved in recent years to be for mass communication, and thus are designed with fewer assumptions about the readers’ knowledge base than other types of visualizations.

She writes that, “No matter what you do for a living, it’s likely that Microsoft Word is a part of your life. The more than 30-year-old application remains one of the most used in the world today.”

I have been using MS Work for as long as I have been using computers and found a couple of the suggested short cuts helpful. I am sure that many long time users of MS Word have learned the commands that they need for their job, but if there are a few new ones that might be helpful, I am sure that you will want to add them to your skill set.
